Bad week
Just checking in. Couldn't get out of bed most days. Managed to shower on Wednesday. That's about it. Still here though.

Still here is enough. Showering on Wednesday is enough. Checking in here is enough. You don't have to do more than survive right now. We see you and we're glad you're here.
Still here though. Those three words carry so much weight. I'm really glad you posted. Bad weeks happen and they don't undo the progress you've made. Just get through this one.
i've been there. exactly there. some weeks the only win is still being here. that's enough. it really is.
Thank you for checking in, Marcus. A shower on Wednesday in the middle of a week like that is not 'about it' – it is an act of self-care under extraordinarily difficult conditions. Depression tells you that effort only counts if it is productive. That is not true. Being here, sharing this, is connection. And connection is a value in action.
Bad weeks are part of the terrain, not a sign of failure. The fact that you are aware of the difficulty and are reaching out rather than withdrawing is clinically significant. If these episodes are becoming more frequent or more severe, it may be worth reviewing your current treatment plan with your provider.
Sending you genuine warmth right now. This community has your back. Rest if you need to. We'll be here when the fog lifts.
The fact that you managed to type these few words and hit post – that took something. Don't underestimate it. Low-energy participation is still participation.
