Voted for speaking up in meetings. It's still hard but I can actually do it now without my voice shaking the entire time. A year ago that would have been unthinkable!

That's huge progress from someone who was staring at their phone for twenty minutes just weeks ago! Look how far you've come!

Ordering food for me. I used to only go to places with app ordering or self-service. Now I can order at the counter without rehearsing my sentence fifteen times. Still rehearse it about three times though.

Three times is still progress! And honestly some of us rehearse everything – it's just good preparation at this point, not anxiety!

Interesting that small talk with colleagues is winning. I think that's because it's something we have to face every single day so there's more opportunity to practise.

Attending social events is still really hard for me. I can manage work things but optional social stuff? I still avoid most of it. Something to work on.

same. the optional ones feel harder because you can't blame work for being there. it's like you have to want to be there and that's scarier.

Reading all these responses makes me realise how much progress this group has made collectively. Every one of these is a situation that used to feel impossible!

We should do a comparison poll in six months and see how the answers shift! Would be so motivating to see the progress.
